Developing your film is one of the most important steps in learning to use a darkroom! This workshop will cover the theory behind black-and-white processing, including the different types of chemicals and equipment. By the end of this class, you will have a solid foundation in film development and the confidence to do it yourself. 

During this two-hour workshop, you will learn the following:

  • The complete introduction to developing B&W film.

  • All supplies and equipment required to develop B&W film

  • What chemicals to use and how to mix them

  • How to load film on a reel and into the development tank

  • How to properly dry your film

  • Storing chemicals after use

  • Understanding development times

** You will receive your own development tank and 2 reels you can take home after the workshop**

**Please bring 1-2 rolls of exposed 35mm black and white film to process during the workshop.**
