Black and White Film Developing Workshop
Developing your film is one of the most important steps in learning to use a darkroom! This workshop will cover the theory behind black-and-white processing, including the different types of chemicals and equipment. By the end of this class, you will have a solid foundation in film development and the confidence to do it yourself.
During this two-hour workshop, you will learn the following:
The complete introduction to developing B&W film
All supplies and equipment required to develop B&W film
What chemicals to use and how to mix them safely
How to load film on a reel and into the development tank
How to find and understand development times
How to properly dry your film after it’s been processed
How to store and dispose of chemicals after use
** You will receive your own development tank and 2 reels you can take home after the workshop**
**Please bring 1-2 rolls of exposed 35mm black and white film to process during the workshop.**
