Intro to 35mm Film Cameras Workshop
This is a 3-hour class covering the very basics including loading film, manual settings, caring for your camera, composition techniques, and more from our expert instructors.
If you are completely new to film photography, you will feel confident working with your camera by the end of the class. If you are already comfortable with shooting but want to polish up your skills this is perfect for you. We want you to leave with the confidence to capture any photo you want.
The workshop will be very hands-on and divided into two parts. First, we’ll start with the classroom session and follow that with an outdoor photowalk so you can reinforce your new skills by asking our instructors any questions in real-time.
During this three-hour workshop, you will learn the following:
Loading and unloading of 35mm film cameras
Manual camera settings (aperture, ISO, and shutter speed)
How to properly expose your photographs
How to use your camera’s light meter/ handheld meter
Different types of film stocks and when to use them
How to properly compose photographs & and much more
